About
Tiny links, no nonsense
minify.pro does one thing and tries to be genuinely good at it.
Our mission
Most URL shorteners have quietly become ad networks and analytics platforms. The link is the product you wanted; the rest is somebody else's business model running on your data. We wanted the opposite: a shortener that gives you a short link, keeps quiet, and gets out of the way.
So minify.pro is deliberately small. Four characters per link, no account required to share something once, no tracking scripts, no third-party embeds, and no dashboard you have to open unless you want one. The whole thing is designed to disappear into the background of whatever you were actually trying to do.
What we believe in
Short should mean short
Four characters. Every link, every time. Longer codes exist because they are easier to generate, not because they help you, so we do not use them.
Asking for less is the point
Sign-in needs an email address and nothing more. No password to store, no profile to fill in, no third-party sign-in that hands your details to somebody else. Codes are stored hashed, and sessions live on our server rather than in a token you carry around.
Privacy by default, not by promise
Expired links stop working instead of quietly continuing to route traffic forever. Destinations pointing at private or internal addresses are refused, so the service cannot be turned into a probe against your own network.
Honest defaults
Links expire on a schedule you can see, limits exist to stop abuse and are explained on the help page rather than hidden, and when something breaks we would rather tell you what happened than show a generic error.
